A / Process scope

Kestrel machines prismatic and rotational components to customer drawings, using CNC milling and CNC turning with the drilling, tapping, reaming, boring, and thread work that print requirements call for. Work is quoted part by part: we review geometry, tolerances, material, and finish requirements before we commit to a price or a date.

We do not publish a generic tolerance claim. Achievable tolerances depend on geometry, material, and quantity, and are confirmed against your drawing during quotation. If a feature is at the edge of what a process can hold economically, we say so in the quote, with an alternative where one exists.

C / Materials & finishes

Buyers typically specify aluminum alloys, carbon and stainless steels, brasses, and engineering thermoplastics for machined work. Material sourcing, certification, and machinability are confirmed per RFQ. Tell us the specified grade and any certificate requirements and we will confirm scope in writing.
