A / Process scope

Beyond individual parts, Kestrel delivers mechanical sub-assemblies, including fastening, hardware insertion, pinning, and fitting of the machined and fabricated components we produce, so a single purchase order covers more of your bill of materials. Assembly work is quoted against your bill of materials and assembly instructions.

Finishes such as anodizing, plating, powder coating, passivation, and heat treatment are managed to your specification as part of the quoted scope, so parts arrive ready for your line. Finish callouts, masking, and cosmetic requirements are reviewed at quotation, not discovered at delivery.

B / Typical work

  • Mechanical sub-assemblies and kits
  • Hardware insertion and PEM fastening
  • Pinned, keyed, and fastened builds
  • Anodize, plating, and coating callouts
  • Heat treatment to specification
  • Bag-and-tag or kitted delivery to your BOM

C / Materials & finishes

Assembly scope is driven by your bill of materials: customer-supplied, consigned, or purchased components are all workable models and are agreed at quotation. Finish specifications, including class, color, and thickness callouts, should be stated on the drawing or PO so they can be quoted explicitly.
